Everyone loves a great outdoor space. There’s nothing better than a warm summer’s day spent out in the garden. We love a great barbeque and the company of friends on a summer’s evening. We love to watch the kids run around playing games and making up stories in the back garden. However, a good looking garden doesn’t tend to itself. A wonderful outside space requires care and attention. Unfortunately, we don’t all have the time – or money – to get our green fingers out and look after it. That’s where we come in. Today, we’ll show you how to create a stunning garden space, with almost no effort at all.
Artificial grass. – Mowing the lawn, weeding and strimming takes hours away from your summer weekends. Instead of enjoying your lawn, you’re far too busy preening it. This is no good when you only have a small amount of time to enjoy the sun. Investing in an artificial lawn could be just what you need. Professionals will come and install the grass for you. After that, all you have to do is enjoy it. There’s no mowing, weeding or trimming to worry about and it’ll look great all year round.
Portable buildings – Got time to build a shed? I don’t think so! Whether you lack the time or the DIY skills, there is always an answer to be found. One trick to a neat and tidy garden is a shed or garage space to store all the essentials. If you don’t feel up to building one, you can purchase a variety of prefabricated buildings. This could be a pop-up shed or a portable garage. Take a look around and see what you could benefit from.
Easy flowers – Most of us assume that planting flowers is an artform reserved only for the greenest fingers. This couldn’t be further from the truth. There are plenty of shortcuts for the lazy gardener here. Most garden stores sell packets of mixed flowers. They’ve done the hard work in matching colours and styles. You simply scatter the seeds and watch your beautiful flower bed grow. Aim for year-round bloomers to eliminate even more of the work.
Bring the indoors out – Garden furniture is great, but they do take some looking after. Metal furniture will rust and wooden furniture will rot when left in the elements. A simple trick is to forget garden furniture entirely. Instead, just bring the indoors out! Use cushions and beanbags to create a cosy sitting area. You could even bring out the entire sofa and a TV on a sunny day. It’ll be fun, exciting and comfortable!
Make friends with the birds – Birds are a gardener’s best friend. They help keep the bugs and pests away which will keep your garden looking healthy. Hedgehogs are also great for eating all the pests. If you look after these creatures, they’ll help keep your garden free from pests. That means less work for you and more time enjoying the garden! Put out seeds and water for the birds and treats for the hedgehogs. It will keep them coming back and keep the garden in great condition.
Many of us simply don’t have the time to keep the garden looking sharp. When that’s the case, we need shortcuts and cheats! Follow the advice here for a quick and easy garden life!
